Save with ENERGY STAR®

What is ENERGY STAR?

ENERGY STAR is an energy efficiency program launched in 1992 by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. It is now jointly sponsored by the EPA and the U.S. Department of Energy. A product bearing the ENERGY STAR logo will use less energy and save you money on energy costs.

Products qualifying for the ENERGY STAR label are available in 40 categories and thousands of models, including home appliances, office equipment, commercial and industrial equipment and even new and existing homes and commercial buildings.

The ENERGY STAR logo can be found on everything from compact fluorescent light bulbs to refrigerators, and its presence identifies a product as being from 10 to 50 percent more energy efficient than products without the ENERGY STAR logo.
