With Energy Select you can purchase electricity lower than the standard residential rate 87 percent of the time.

At peak times, your price will be higher than in the standard residential rate, but you can program your thermostat to avoid these times based on your convenience and desire. (Rarely, a critical price may apply but no more than one percent of the hours in a year.) The net effect for the overwhelming majority of Energy Select customers is lower monthly energy bills.
