To be an Energy Select customer, you must have:
- An active residential account with Gulf Power Company
- A phone company land line or digital cable phone service. For digital cable phone service, a phone line cord must run from the cable phone modem to a phone wall jack. Cellular, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and other wireless phone services will not currently work with Energy Select.
- A central heating and cooling system
- An electric meter that is 200-Amp service or less
- A separate and accessible electric meter — banked meters are not eligible
- Ownership of your home or the homeowner's signed permission.
- You cannot be signed up for Gulf Power's Flat Bill rate
Attention Renters:
If you're not the homeowner but would like to enroll in Energy Select, you can still do so. Simply print the Landlord Agreement Form (PDF 197KB) and complete it with the homeowner's signed permission for the Energy Select equipment to be installed on the home.
