Considering that a significant amount of your energy dollar goes to heating and cooling, you can do a lot to lower heating and cooling costs by raising your ceiling insulation to energy-efficiency standards.
If you currently have little or no insulation, adding insulation may be the most cost-effective energy improvement you can make, especially with Gulf Power's incentive of $0.15 per square foot.

Calculators and tools to see if an energy efficient product is right for you.
For long-term, low-maintenance energy savings, it's hard to beat a ceiling insulation upgrade. Over time, updated insulation will save your business money and will ensure you're using air conditioning and heating as efficiently as possible.
Industry standards identify your insulation's R-value as a way to measure the heat resistance of your insulation. The higher the R-value, the more insulating ability the material has. If you have less than an R-12 ceiling insulation, you should consider adding insulation.
